Position Summary
The DevOps Lead - L1 will be responsible for leading DevOps initiatives, ensuring seamless integration and deployment across applications, and driving automation to strengthen collaboration between development, testing, and operations. The role requires expertise in managing DevOps architecture, CI/CD pipelines, IT infrastructure, and ensuring cyber resilience while mentoring and leading teams to achieve excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive technical solutions and support the DevOps team in implementing CI/CD frameworks.
- Design and define DevOps architecture and select the right tools and platforms per client requirements.
- Develop deployment models for testing, monitoring, and validating application performance.
- Manage IT infrastructure to align with supported applications.
- Oversee the entire DevOps pipeline from planning and coding to release and monitoring.
- Integrate security best practices across the DevOps lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot complex DevOps tool implementation issues and conduct root cause analysis.
- Lead customer support for DevOps tools and resolve escalations effectively.
- Mentor and train teams, build internal capabilities, and manage performance reviews.
- Foster diversity, inclusion, employee satisfaction, and engagement within the team.
Experience Required
5-8 years of experience in DevOps leadership roles.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Master’s degree preferred.
Technical Skills
Languages
- Proficiency in DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong background in cloud platforms, automation, and monitoring solutions.
- Knowledge of scripting and coding for deployment and integration.
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity practices in DevOps.
