Position Summary
Join us for a unique opportunity to shape data strategy and make a large-scale impact at a leading financial services firm. As a Data Scientist Associate Senior within the Data & Analytics Data Strategy and Product organization, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to deliver high-quality external data solutions. You will help modernize data delivery and enable cloud-based publishing, supporting strategic priorities for the firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage external data cloud publishing requests, ensuring viability, quality, accuracy, and usability.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to modernize external data delivery for analysts and modelers.
- Serve as a technical liaison between product, engineering, and data users.
- Design and implement processes for extracting and refining metadata into data discovery solutions.
- Communicate scope and status of data management and publishing requests to stakeholders.
- Support the refinement of large language model solutions for metadata discovery.
Experience Required
Three years of experience in data and analytics or equivalent.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and three years of experience in data and analytics or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications
- Technical experience in Apache Spark and programming languages such as Python and Java.
- Experience in building data pipelines, data management and experience working with external suppliers and sourcing external data.
- Familiarity with fundamentals of cloud computing and providers such as AWS, Snowflake, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with GenAI solutions and their application in financial services.
