Position Summary

Join us as a Data Analyst at Barclays, where you'll take part in the evolution of our digital landscape, driving innovation and excellence. You'll harness cutting-edge technology to revolutionize our digital offerings, ensuring unparalleled customer experiences. As a part of the team, you will deliver technology stack, using strong analytical and problem solving skills to understand the business requirements and deliver quality solutions. You'll be working on complex technical problems that will involve detailed analytical skills and analysis. This will be done in conjunction with fellow engineers, business analysts and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting and deliver end to end solutions using tools like Oracle PL/SQL, Ab Initio, Spark, Scala, HDFS, Unix, Teradata, TWS for the existing and new business.
  • Work with the junior developers to recommend good design, coding and implementation practices.
  • Drive innovation through good understanding of data, business drivers and business need.
  • Create and execute comprehensive test cases for complete coverage of all code modifications to ensure expected accuracy and performance results are achieved.
  • Packaging up codes for release into production and on implementation of releases, provide training to support team members.
  • Communicate effectively with the other external IT development teams and the local development manager.

Experience Required

3-5 years of experience in data analysis and related technologies.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Awareness of various testing and analytical methodologies and tools.
  • Able to solve problems with data to understand relevance of it to the wider objective.
  • Banking knowledge preferred.
