Position Summary

Under general supervision, the Analyst, Credit Analysis is responsible for reviewing Corporate, Healthcare and Not-for-Profit financials/annual reports and other supporting financial data to prepare spread sheets and input data into the Moody’s Credit Lens. This role supports Senior Analysts and Credit Portfolio Managers in underwriting activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review entity financials/annual reports and other supporting financial data to accurately prepare spreads in Moody’s Credit Lens (MCL).
  • Partner with Bankers, Relationship Managers and other internal clients through financial/credit analysis and identification of risk factors. Adds value to ultimate client relationship by providing timely response and quality underwriting in coordination with client needs.
  • Prepare critical weekly/monthly/quarterly reports for Management.
  • Perform quality check of the spreads / reports and ensure they are as per the guidelines.

Experience Required

1-2 years of banking or other financial/credit analysis related experience.

Education Requirements

  • Significant knowledge of U.S. finance and accounting usually acquired through formal education and appropriate experience required to analyze and evaluate financial statements.

Soft Skills

  • Analytical and communication skills (verbal and written) are required to analyze entities’ operating performance and prepare presentations.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to work independently.
